Hey Mr Christmas

A song for my son, Pirate and his love for Christmas which I didn’t always share.

Winter Wonderland

My favourite version of this is a Dean Martin cover. I’m looking for this to be bright (a bit childish, child-like?) and fun.  The accompaniment will sound like a toy piano - plinky and jingling. Almost a ‘heart and soul’ rhythm.

Instead of calling on Parson Brown, I will be referencing a popular culture figure, Father Nathan Monk.

Rainbow Christmas

It is super important to do justice by this piece as it is a unique offering to Christmas music: a love letter to the LGBTQIA+ community.

Let it Snow

Simple accompaniment will off set the trio of voices (Kate and her daughters Orion and Robin)

On Christmas Eve

This is a ballad, slow and sultry.  I’m hoping for the music (piano/bass) to feel lush and round with brushy drums.  This is the ‘slow song’ on the album
